Makin' It.

After eight full days of stomach bug ravaging our house, it *appears* we may be on the other side of it.  I'm crossing my fingers.  I believe Bry and I may be trying out flu shots in the next year, because three different rounds of stomach illness in one winter seems more than enough.  We're making it though.

And what better time than when your house is full of dirty sheets and throw up clothes to start potty training?  Why not :)  Tell's stomach bug seemed to also implant him with a new sense of purpose as well, since he seems to be more capable of throwing much more impressive tantrums now and exerting his opinion through shrieks and hollers and 'NO's'.  When even Bryan said a few days  ago -- "I think you may have missed the easy window of potty training...." -- I thought, oh boy I better get with it.  So we're on Day 2 and it's going OK.  It may be a slow process, but I'm determined we're going to make it.  This kid doesn't seem to be getting any easier or milder anytime soon.

The house is it's usual disaster and top priority is cleaning and disinfecting the floors.  Too bad I already had some coffee this morning, because I've a hankering for this:

It keeps finding me every time I flip through my newest Ina cookbook .... maybe tomorrow's the day.
